The 2013 Cambridge Summer School of Theology will examine the Biblical plan of salvation, reflecting upon the way in which the biography of Jesus is the source of our own identity as Christians; to know Christ as saviour is to understand who we are before God himself.
Dr. Carl Trueman is Professor of Historical Theology and Church History at Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia. With an MA in Classics from the University of Cambridge, and a PhD. in Church History from the University of Aberdeen, Dr. Trueman is the author of ‘The Wages of Spin: Critical Writings on Historical and Contemporary Evangelicalism’ (Mentor, 2005), 'Minority Report: Unpopular thoughts on Everything from Ancient Christianity to Zen Calvinism' (Mentor, 2007) and ‘Histories and Fallacies: Problems Faced in the Writing of History.’ (Crossway, 2009). Carl previously taught the Cambridge Summer School of Theology in 2002 and 2006, and we’re delighted that he will be returning to teach for us once again.
