Why?

What makes Cambridge special? Why is the history of Cambridge important?

Christian Heritage runs regular Guided Walks to help visitors explore not only the beautiful streets and buildings of Cambridge, but also the important history of the city and University. Taking in some of the most famous buildings and colleges, we also introduce you to some of the people who helped to shape Western civilization. We endeavour to take into account the interests of those in the group and encourage questions throughout the tour. We have been running these highly acclaimed walks for nearly 20 years.

Just turn up at the Round Church (map) on Bridge Street, beyond St John's college,  for the following times:

Recommendations

'Any tour of historic Cambridge has intrinsic value, but the Christian Heritage tour I took was exceptional...As I viewed Isaac Newton's rooms at Trinity, and heard [our guide]'s brilliant explanations...I could not help feeling the enormity of Newton's words that we stand on the shoulders of giants. I highly recommend the tour!'
