Exhibition: The Impact of Christianity in England

A twelve-panel exhibition exploring the influence of Christianity upon:
  • the development of education
  • the growth of modern science
  • our ideas of religious and political freedom
  • our notions of human rights and justice
  • and much more
‘The Impact of Christianity in England’ was written by Ian Cooper, historian and tutor for Christian Heritage.

It was officially opened on 22 June 2005 by The Mayor of Cambridge, Councillor John Hipkin.

In 2007 it was also displayed at the Cabinet Office, Whitehall. It formed part of an event to raise awareness of Christianity, which was introduced by the Cabinet Secretary Sir Gus O’Donnell.
