*ALL BOOKINGS RECEIVED BEFORE 15TH FEBRUARY 2012, QUALIFY FOR A 10% 'EARLY BIRD' DISCOUNT*
Reasons for Faith will examine a number of recent developments in science—in cosmology, physics, biology and archaeology — as well as ancient history and modern philosophy that give intellectual support for Biblical faith.
The course will present reasons for considering belief in (a) a personal God, (b) the historical reliability of the Bible and (c) New Testament’s claims about the identity of Jesus Christ.
OUR SPEAKER

Stephen C. Meyer received his Ph.D. in the philosophy of science from the University of Cambridge. A former geophysicist and philosophy professor, he now directs Discovery Institute’s Center for Science and Culture. His book ‘Signature in the Cell’ (HarperOne, 2009) was named a Book of the Year by the Times Literary Supplement and ranked in the Top 10 Best-Selling Books in Science at Amazon.com for 2009.
In addition to technical articles in biology and philosophy journals, he has written on scientific and political issues for national newspapers such as The Daily Telegraph, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The National Post (of Canada) and The Los Angeles Times.
Though Dr. Meyer is best know for his scientific work on the origin of life, he has maintained an active personal interest on the relationship between science, reason and Christian faith. Dr. Meyer has taught this popular class on ‘Reasons for Faith’ for nearly twenty years in U.S. colleges and universities.
